Music...
Ok!, what can I say about music, personally, this art means almost everything to me. If I could make a summary of my life, probably would use a lot of music, of differents styles, rhythms and sounds.
When I was in my mom's belly, she start to put music for me, she said to me that everytime she did that, I started to move inside of her.
So, that was a really good reason to dance till today.
When I dance, the music is a perfect partner. Postmodern dance (and people who develop that dance style) think that music is not important, and that you can dance also without it. Yeah, Yeah! MAYBE, but for me, music, and sounds are really important, I need it because evoke moments, situations, images, people, important events, etc. and to add a meaning to my movement, is extremelly necesary those elements to perform.

My favourite band is Radiohead, Thom Yorke, Johnny Greenwood and the others, are genious, I think they are my favourite band  because their music has going been transformed just like my life. They started really Rock/pop band, then they jump to a Post Rock like psychodelic music, then, they have evolved mixing guitars with electronic music, till today, that is almost electronic music.
They are perfect to make a dance improvisation.
Just brilliant.

When Radiohead came to Chile in 2009 I was the first guy (think so) that buy tickets and wait like a "Miley Cyrus fan" for their concert. (Worst example ever).
That concert start with "Creep" the most classical song of them, and then, all the experience in my ears, and in my mind marked a Before and after in my life.
They are really good artists, a big reference to my career like a dancer.

I let you a video with one of my favourite songs.

Foodilicious...!

Oh well... Food...!
What can i say about this? I always experience a contradiction when i think in food.
When i was young, I had serious weight problems, since i was born till i was sixteen years old, i was overweight like 25 extra kilograms. (50 pounds).
So, as you could see, I'm really careful with the things that i eat. I really, REALLY! love food, and dont have problems with almost any kind of food, I try to eat lots of fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, and soy.
And no!, im not vegetarian or vegan, but i always prefer healthy food, (sometimes, but just sometimes, i eat junk food, like hamburguers, fries, ice cream, or thinks like that).
My favourite plate is pasta, specially "Lasagna". Gooood!!!!!! i looove the taste of it, the mix between tomatoes, meat, cream, cheese and different spices takes me to heaven everytime i eat it.

I know lots of recipes, i really love cooking, but i dont have enough time to practice, or cook something even for me. So, i always prepare different kind of tortillas with vegetables. I gonna show you how to cook a Chard Tortilla.

Ingredients:

3 Eggs.
1 Big chard.
1 Carrot
1 Garlic.
1/2 Onion.
Salt
Pepper.
Eneldo.
Oregano.

1. Start cleaning 5 or more leafs of chard, chop it and put in a pot with water till gets boiled. When its ready, put the leafs in a colander and wait till gets cold.
2. Chop the carrot, garlic and onion, then mix it in with the chard, eggs, and add salt, pepper, eneldo and oregano as much as you want.
3. Put a drop of olive oil in a hot frying pan (skillet) and, inmediately, add the mix giving form with a spatula and the cook it slow.
4. After a couple of minutes, turn the tortilla carefully and cook.
5. Retire the frying pan of the oven, cut and enjoy.!!

You can do tortillas with almost every vegetable..!!
Try to change chard for anything that you want.

Pina Bausch

One of the most iconic person in the dance world is this woman, Pina Bausch.
Her real name is Philippina Bausch (27 July 1940 – 30 June 2009), this german dancer, choreographer and ballet director was a pioneer in contemporary dance. She was born in the city of Solingen, Germany. She has a unique style, a special way to go inside of dance, she mixed different kind of movements, bodies, artistics forms, and proposals .She used to work with the emotions, the personal history of each dance and their own movement language in order to deliver to people a true dance, a piece from inside. She was the director of "Tanzteather Wuppertal Pina Bausch", one of the most important dance companies which performs internationally.
She created lots of choreograpfical pieces (let mw show you some of them):

"Rite of Spring" (1975)
"Seven deadly Sins" (1976)
"Café Muller" (1978)
"Masurca Fogo" (1998)
"Voldmond" (2006)
"Como el musguito en la piedra ay si si si" (2009)

I like her because she always believe thero no exist an special age, or type of body, or special conditions to be a dancer, she was not interested in showing  perfects bodies or literal histories, she was interested not in human movement in deed, she prefer to know what are the reasons that make your body move, or "what make your body to express" what you have inside.
